Makalidurga Trek Overview
Makalidurga is an eco-trek destination situated near Doddaballapur. Atop the hill sits an ancient fort wrapping around an old temple. It is highly famous among photographers due to the beautiful view of the winding railway tracks at the base.
The trek starts by walking along a short railway stretch before branching into the hill trail. The route goes up a moderately steep, rocky granite incline covered in small shrubs, ending inside the historic stone battlements of the old fort.
