Mullayanagiri Trek Overview
Standing tall at 1,930 meters, Mullayanagiri is the pinnacle of Karnataka. It features a small temple dedicated to Mulappa Swami at the top. Visitors can either climb via the historic Sarpadhari trail or use the vehicle road to reach the final 500 steps.
The conventional Sarpadhari ('Snake Path') route is an earthy trail that cuts across a steep incline, passing a small cave. It brings you up to the main ridge line that connects directly to the temple steps, wrapped completely in heavy mist during monsoon months.
