Savandurga Monolith Trek Overview
Savandurga consists of two massive hills: Karigudda (Black Hill) and Biligudda (White Hill). It is widely recognized as one of Asia's largest single-granite monolith structures, featuring ruined fort arches built by Kempegowda.
The hike ascends the exposed granite slope of Biligudda. The trail has no trees or shade, going directly up a smooth rock face marked by white arrows. You navigate old stone fort gates to reach the top where a small Nandi temple rests.
