Kote Betta (Mudigere side) Trek stands as a historic bastion featuring defensive masonry gates, old watchtowers, and temples from the Vijayanagara and post-Hoysala eras. It offers a wonderful morning hike.
The ascent follows a series of ancient granite stone steps carved directly into the hill monolith. Trekkers pass multiple fort gates and historic granaries before reaching the windy summit point.
