Kodachadri Trek Overview
Kodachadri is a beautiful mountain peak covered in dense shola forests in the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary. It is famous for housing the Sarvajna Peetha, where the philosopher Adi Shankara meditated. The peak offers breathtaking sunset views.
The classical path takes you past the spectacular Hidlumane Falls, involving an adventurous slippery climb over rock faces. The trail then transitions into clear shola fields before merging with the jeep track that heads to the temple area near the top.
