Pushpagiri Trek Overview
Pushpagiri is the second tallest peak in Coorg and forms the northern approach of the mountain range that shares its summit with Kumara Parvatha. This path from Somwarpet is highly favored for its dense bamboo tunnels and rich birdlife.
The trek starts from the Kumaralli base village checkpost. The trail cuts through heavy wild bamboo thickets and muddy forest floors, leading into steep volcanic rock step ascents that finally terminate at a shrine on the grand peak.
